If you’re thinking I’m not going to make kale chips, I’ll have real chips thanks, then I hear you. For those who know me well, potatoes and chips are my weakness and I did not think that a kale chip could stand up to the good old potato – but I was wrong. These can be made as a snack, whipped through a salad or used as a side dish which is what we did last night. Oh and they’re EASY.
1 bunch of kale Some good quality oil Some sea salt
Heat the oven to 150 degrees celcius. Use your hands to rip the kale into the size chips you want. Put them on a baking tray or two (don’t pile them up on one tray). Drizzle a little oil and sprinkle a little salt over top and toss. Put in the oven and keep an eye on them. Giving them a toss every now and then will ensure even crispness. Once crispy pull out and eat hot or cold. Yum yum yum yum… Enjoy x
